Okay I was wondering if anyone could tell the exact kit of Koni Yellows front and rear I would need for an 2001 Sunfire gt With 18" rims?
i believe there is only one koni full suspension kit (shocks and springs) for the 3rd gen cav. aj usa has that kit for pretty cheap.
Are you talking about the struts or the sport kit that has the struts and springs? We have the Koni yellows in stock for 479.99 On special right now.
Expain more what you want so we can help you out.

I mean just the struts, I plan on gettieng GC coliovers, unless getting the konis with springs is a better idea?
there is only 1 version on koni yellows. they will work w/ just about anything, just dont ride too low on them or you'll blow them
^^^agreed
just an FYI bagged, they do come packaged with different stuff, like the new sport kit. or just strut separately, and although not for our cars they have threaded kits as well.
How low can you drop the Koni yellows before going out of the warranty mark. (ex. AGX's 1.5" drop) I was going to go Koni's with my GC's, but if you can't lower them more than 1.5" without hitting the warranty mark, then I might as well save $200 and get some AGX's?
from what i understand, koni yellows dont have a "warranty void mark". basically you can go as low as you want with them and theyle take it.
well if you wanna ride around slammed all the time then go with bags, Koni should be ok down to 2 -2.5 drop more than 3 is pushing it. its not that the quality of the Koni are bad or anything its a mechanical system and there needs to be room for movement in the damper to allow for give and proper function, otherwise you would just have a solid piece of steel in there with no give at all, and a very harsh ride .

if their not abused, if you ride with a 4" drop all the time and blow them then good luck to you.
the only reason to be that low is for show really, about 1.5 drop on our cars is optimal. that is the sweet spot where the A-arms are close to parallel to the ground. over lowering is hard on your suspension, other parts will wear faster than normal, IE ball joints, tie rod ends, A-arm bushings, strut mounts.
Koni will warranty just about anything up to 2" drop, no questions. If you go past 2.25 constantly you'll start running into problems. 3+ all the time will void the waranty I'm sure.
Thanks guys. That is exactly what I was looking for. I would only have it 1.5" low in the summer and then maybe 2" or so inches just for a couple shows. Seems like Koni is the way to do it.

Running 1.5" all the time is just fine, you
should never have any problems. It's fine to slam (2-3") them for shows (just watch for bumps if you drive the car at all during the show).
