Well every time i hit a sharp bump or go over a series of bumps my car makes a clunking sound..i figure its the strut mounts, whenever i got my KYB they did not send me washers with them and not wanting to wait on them to send me the washers i got me about 4 washers and stacked them together act as the big washer that kyb sends, a week later i've got them. Well i've had these washers in there for about 4 months now...do you believe that it is the washers wearing out and i need to put the KYB washers in or is it just the mount itself?
i would like to know this also but my car does this i think because i had a little run in with a curb
clunk, rumble, or other sound like that = strut mount
okay i got two 99 strut moutn kits and the strut mount seats...how do you assemble them for a 2005 cavy?
Same way do for the 99. Strut - Isolator - Spring - Isolator - Seat - Mount - Topnut, attach assembly to vehicle.
