Those struts aren't gonna hold up with coilovers, if you want coils you need to swap the GR2's out for Konis.

gr2s are oem replacements. even the agxs wont work w/ coils. the best choice for coils are koni yellows

I'm hearing a lot of people saying that the Koni yellow is the best. I personally have Ground Control with my GR-2 and they have been fine for a while now. Actually coming up on 2.5 years with no problems and that's driving in Colorado on mountain roads in the winter time. They perform well.

I'll have a sig someday....................

I drove a friends car back from the previous bash that had GR-2's and Ground Controls. It definatley wasn't the best ride.

Not to rip this post but...
I don't get it? Every one says you Can't go lower than 1.5 and Ky AGX's
But my borther has been riping around northren Ontiaro with a 2.5 drop with Agx's And after 2 years it rides Grate( really) Is ther something diffrent about AGX's for J's than Civics? And I know I lot of Honda Boys running around with a 3" drop on KYB's..

I've got Sportlines And looking for a shock that will work But I don't want to Spend $800CND on ajustible shocks yellows or D-specs

What's wrong with stock..?

Some of it depends on how you drive. I can garuntee you you give me som AGX's, a drop of 2.5 and an autocross season and I can blow them.

the AGX's arn't designed for anymore than a 1.5 inch drop, that sets the piston in the still functioning range. If you lower to far you can bottom out the strut, and damage the valve and the piston, then start leaking oil, yay.......

He may actually already be running around on blown struts, it amazes me how many people don't realize how blown their struts are despite the fact that it has a sporty ride. My little brother has sportlines and the stock struts. It rides decent, but it's not nearly as nice as mine is with the AGX's at STOCK height none the less.

Watch the civics (there's a good number around here in Frederick too) when they go over bumps go up inclines etc.. you can see how bad their bouncing. If the struts were working properly the car would just squat and then come back up, insted of bouncing up and down.

FACT

Just because you don't realize they're blown, doesn't mean they aren't. How many times do we have to say it??
