Snapped Head on Top Strut Mount Bolt

I have a head nap that snapped off of one of the strut mount bolts. Its nothing major...just have to figure out how do get it out of there. I'll take a look this weekend. I'm hoping to be able to accsess the bottom of the mount and use a vise grips to srew it out the bottom of the mount. Is this possible?

Any suggestions as how else I can remove it without having to get a new strut mount?

Use a thread extractor. You just drill a hole in the center of the broken bolt, and screw the extractor in.

Agreed. and Linky

I would take an angle grinder (or hacksaw would work I suppose) and cut the head off the bolt.

The head is already gone. It is the bolt that goes from top down. I'll make a run to Sears tomarrow to pick them up and give'm a try. Thanks for the informtion guys.
