Is there any differences?
Are the KYBs surdier then the OEM or vice versa?
What do you recommend? As this will go on the GT w/24K miles.

between all oem replacement mounts, which kyb, monroe, gabriel all are... its basically the exact same, except for the name on the box and the groves they cut in the rubber for water evacuations...
unless you upgrade to a pillowball mount or a camber plate theres no difference whatsoever...
KYB's are also aprox. 10% stiffer in the front vs. stock.
But it is a higher quality strut than OEM, and cheaper too I believe.

I've been hearin alot about pillow ball mounts, 1) Where can they be purchased, and 2) whats the benefit over an OEM or similar mount?

I think he meant mount. I don't know about 10% stiffer, but that's a marginal differant anyway. I'd just lump it in with all the rest really. They all basically suck after 50Kmi.
^^^^^^^ by the way the kyb agx struts are NOT cheaper
they cost me $100 cdn per strut more than the stock ones which were $125 for the premium monroe with my CT discount
