I got the dorman old style mounts. Had to buy the strut shaft nuts from the dealer, for the early style mounts. about $2 each.

^^^that's nice to hear. my main concern is getting strut mounts that will last. Lifetime warranty seems like a good deal

my friend who installed my suspension said that 1 or 2 of them were about to go (from wear, he said they were cracked a bit), and now I start hearing funny noises, so since I have to change them anyway, might as well, change all 4, since you have to completely reinstall the suspension to install the mounts, which sucks.

Acutally, depending on our set up, you can interchange mounts without even removing the tire. All you need to do is jack the car up until the tires are off the ground, unbolt the mounts, depress the strut in and remove the mount. Now I'm running coils so I have the added space but I'm guessing with some spring compressers should should be able to do it with no problems. And by the way 00'-03' mounts suck, been through 3 so far and still no luck Will be going with 95-99 once I find a good deal....
