hey guys,
im in big trouble here and need some serious help. it all started monday. i was driving downtown and pulled out of a parking lot but couldnt see curb too well. i ended up putting the passenger tires onto the road first then the driver side went off the curb and smashed onto the road. now, im lowered roughly 2" on goldlines and koni yellows and im positive i bottomed out. i heard a loud bang, but as i drove it wasnt that bad. well last night driving every single little bump or pothole that the drivers side hits makes a loud noise, kind of like hearing a speedbump rub against the frame. does anyone have any idea what damage i could have caused? any help is appreciated.
-thx, steve
You probally blew out your strut mounts.
out of curiousity, how hard is it to blow a koni yellow strut?
Im not exactly sure, but i know they take a GOOD beating.
Yeah.. Koni's are strong suckers, I doubt you damaged it. Sounds like a strut mount, maybe a ball joint, bent control arm possible.. You really need to get under there and see if anything looks damaged. Let us know what you see.
