So i have 3 friends sponsered by CCE Hydros. (the hydro gods)
My question is about there Air Cylinder set ups.
Does anyone use them? Does anyone have any feedback for them.
Good, bad, ect.
I've never seen a cav on CCE Air, but I've seen a grandam. (friends girlfriend). Im courious to the install complecations, and quality of the cylinders.
...
well your best bet is to ask your friends girlfriend. even though its not the same car she should be able tot tell you about the quality of the kit.
What year GrandAM. The 92-98 have almost identical suspension. The Front is the same, except the steering hooks to the strut (N body), not the knuckle (J body). The rear is very close as well. N has shocks, J has struts, but still fairly similar.
The 99+ also very similar in the front (swapable even), the rear is very different though.
from what ive heard cylinders dont ride the greatest. but personally i dont know.

you need accumulators. without, the ride is rather stiff
not doing it for ride quality...
im doing it so i can drag, and not worry about busting a bag in the winter. plus i like a rough ride
...
When you bust a bag over a strut you dont loose control of the car so much.
You break a cylinder that is replacing the strut up front and you loose control of the wheel.
BUt forget all that. Do you think you can also get a spnocership threw CCE. if so then who cares. Try it out and tell us how it all goes. ANd use some acumulaters to help witht he ride
I am all that is man
doubt i'll get sponsered, but i can probably get a discount from 1 of the 2 locals sponsered by them
those that went to the bash may remember the Green Beretta on Hyrdo's. Marvin the martian air brushing, ect. Thats my buddy Al's car.
...
accumulators make the ride a little better but not enough to be worth the money
