does anyone with the Ractive Strut Bar have problems with it hitting the hood?
I just installed the one I got for free from a friend and it seems to push up on my stock hood. Just wondering if this was a common problem or not. thanks in advance.

which way do you have it, is the bar up or down?
It's probably upside down. It should "bend" down like this: T\____/T
right. i just couldnt figure out a way to draw it out
there's only one way that it fits. it doesn't bend down. it does bend slightly towards the front of the car though. here's a (crappy) pic of it installed...

i have it, and it hits the hood. i have it turned sideways because of the stock airbox.
well i went out and figured out how to spin the bar so it bends downward. i moved it as much as i could with my intake. it still hits but not nearly as bad as before.

Ah the good old not made specifically for our cars bar. Gotta love it when a copany can cut a few corner and make the same bar for half the cars out there. Sorta hits our hood, but doing it right would have cut into their profits.
I love my stock bar.
Mine sits at a 60 degree angle toward the driver. Still gets the job done. At first mine hit the hood untill i rotated it.
