I SWEAR to god that after I installed my springs that one side of my car still sits higher than the other, IN THE BACK only. I don't understand it.. Could it be something that I did within the installation to @!#$ it up? You can somehwat notice...

Do you have a lot of audio equipment? Depending on whether you bought qaulity springs or not they could be saggin' because of the weight.
Yea, I do have audio equipment, but it is centered in the back of the car... and the springs are used Intrax springs I got from someone off of classifieds...

Could be one spring might have more damage/wear than the other. If you bought them used, that's always a possiblity. Try contacting the previous owner and see if that happend with him or if he possibly did something (accident, ran over something, backed up into something etc) that would have caused that. If it's not you're audio, than it's possibly that.

or you could just not be on level ground
springs arent made to support audio equipment....period.
most all companies produce springs in mind with an empty car, maybe an avg size human for testing. but not loads of audio or even a single sub and amp.
granted you may have what looks like centered, your gas tank isnt centered. which is weight on the passenger side.
also most people arent measuring on solid flat ground, and it take a few days for things to settle in.
if you are seeking the impossible of exact perfection of levelness, get coilovers.
springs are generally made as a cheaper lowering method, or for performance minded mainly.
stuff you can adjust is for those who want to get as close to perfectly setting up a car by corner weights, or for appeareance.
Did you compare them before you put them on? Intrax isn't a great spring to start with. And you got them used.
How big is the difference? Go to someplace with level ground (warehouses almost always do), and measure it up. Less than 1/2" could be anything from the gas tank, to your audio equipment. More than 3/4" and something is probably wrong.
Im going to take them apart tomorrow... BUT could it be something I DID WRONG during the installation to make it do that? lined up with boot wrong, etc?
Thanks,
Chris
really it shouldnt be...
on the front just remember the fatter side goes towards the top...
the rear, usually doesnt matter.
Even if it's on upside down it should sit at the same height, or close. How big is the difference?
an inch is a big difference. you probably did something wrong

- Sold my beloved J in April 2010 -
had to...
one thing i have seen common..... put on a lowering spring, but reinstall the stock spring on the other side.
LMAO no way... that would be hillarious
my springs were new and yellow

no way you could confuse them
Well its an inch sometimes and others about 3/4... I KNOW the correct springs are in the right spot, I DIDNT mess that up. Well... Ill see this afternoon when I take them apart...

How's the font look? You didn't put a front spring on the back, and a back on the front, did you?
