My mounts make some nice noises now, so should I replace the whole assembly for around $75, or just the bearings for $20?
I'm beyond sick of 2k+ mounts, but I'll do what I have to do.
Also any preferred brand, or would Gabriel do the trick?
I guess it depends what kind of noise it is making. Is it a groaning or a popping? That would most likely be the bearings. If it is a banging over bumps, it could be the whole mount. Either way though i would just get new ones, good excuse to get 95-99 eh? I have always been a firm believer in monroes quality, but gabriels are good too. Maybe Event can help you more than me though. Hope you get it worked out bud. Take care.

yes i would like to know too cause i need 95-99 mounts for my soon coming gravanas and i need to know where to get them...Event help us out
2000+ mounts the bearing is in the mount itself from what i;ve seen...
the 95-99 the bearing is external. if its a 95-99 mount, bearing replacement is an easier and less expensive option.
mounts can be gotten at any autoparts store. theres no performance mounts unless you get camber plates made really. all stuff is oem spec.
They show a replacement bearing for my 2001 mount at Autozone for $20 lol, so that's what has confused me, because they're internal.
it might be just the upper half...
i know the bearing race for the 95-99 mounts are close to 19$ per bearing set.
the whole mount itself brand new for the 95 99 front is about 60 each i think at autozone and the rears are like 30 each
