how much flex does the inside corner of the drivers side trunk get?

not sure but if you feel theres a prob you can stitch weld the seamed spot weld areas, or use a grease pen like i did with the strut brace to see how much flex went on...
havent done the stitch welds yet though..
I only ask because a friend of mine wants to build a fiberglass sub box for me and that's where we would put it. Just want to make sure that it doesn't flex too much in there...

Fiberglass I'm fairly sure will flex too. My old car had a fiberglass hood and would wiggle all over. And before you think otherwise it was a factory fiberglass hood not a cheep after market one. I think you should be safe.
