It shouldnt run your battery down because your car should be running when you do your air ride

it doesnt matter, a leak is a leak. take all the fittings off, wrap them in teflon tape, then reinstall them. before you put the tank in, take it to gas station and fill it with air. let it sit over night and see if you lost any air.

you unscrew the fitting from tank etc and put the teflon tape on there

check the drain plug on bottom of tank alot of people overlook them

your compressor should be ran off a switch or an ignition wire so you dont have worry about that.

First off, I was a plumber for a few years in high school. If those threaded fitting are dry (no treatment) they will leak. Period.

You must use teflon tape or pipe dope (some call it thread sealant). Silicone tape is poor-man lame excuse to spend 0$.95 instead of the $2.00 teflon tape; just don't do it, you'll regret it. Using both (telfon + dope) is better yet. Just don't over tighten (very easy to do), cause you'll crack the fittings (you'd be suprised how easy it is when using both).

You can use the pipe dope (liberally if desired) on the quick connections too. This again will help. It will not fix a bad fitting. It will make a good fitting 100% air tight.

well i fix one problem but the tank is still leaking from somewere.... the one prob was my block valves... they are screwd down on a o ring and it seems like they milled the ring to deep so it was not sealing it right. now i have to find the other leak!!!!!
