You'll have to be more specific than "riding like @!#$".
Dampening rate too stiff? Hard over bumps/holes? Handles poorly?

One way would be to adjust your struts to the softest setting.

TechnicZ is right if you have adjustable struts. Setting them softer will improve the ride.

I'm still not very sure I know what you mean though. You realize you have a sport suspension, not a luxury ride; right? If you wanted to simply drop your car, and soften the ride, the sportslines were a wrong choice, and the Koni reds aren't the best choice either. Apex, B-G, or H&R would have been softer choices of springs. Eibach springs are quite firm, good for handling.

If it rattles like it's loose, did you install it yourself, or have a mechanic do it?
If you did it yourself, how sure are you that you tightened everything up correctly? Have you worked on suspension before?
If you brought it in somewhere, how sure are you that they didn't mess something up. Most places will be glad to double check things for you (especially suspension) if you feel something is very wrong.

Then change your springs if you hate it that much. But from the sound of things its just a typical lowered car. The whole point of lowering the car is to make it perform and handle better. With better performance out of your suspension ride quality suffers. Decide which you'd rather have. good handeling or ride quality?

What do you have in the way of bump stops? If you've got none, or half the stock ones, you should consider getting something bigger to cushion the hits when you bottom out.

Get some bigger ones. What you're left with probably isn't enough.

check and see if those coilovers you had on there damaged the konis....

also stiffen or softe up the struts. adjust it, thats what you paid for and the beauty of adjustable struts

also if you had em set to softest with the coilovers on em ,theres a GOOD chance you could have damaged em .

softest setting is usually too soft and a coilover spring would overpower em.

might wanna start stiffening em up, now especially if the softest setting may have damage.

struts are there to control the spring.

Why not switch to air-bage suspension. I don't have 'em but every car i've drive that has 'em rides smooth as silk. As far as the bump stops are concerened, when you lower a car its always a good idea to trim the bumpstops. Another trick, try putting zipties on your shocks, all the way at the bottom, the drive around normally. Then check where the zipties are at, if their all the way up, you car is bottoming out and you've found your problem.

I'm sure everyone would get air-bag suspension if they could afford the cost and trunk space

Honestly.. your car will never have the stock-ride quality when modifying it.. it's always going to be less comfortable. Maybe go for a smaller drop.. also, do you have a negative camber problem? Typically when you lower your car you should get an alignment kit to adjust your camber..

yeah you are DEF a bit new to suspension on these cars.....

few things:

1) its usually only less comfortable when you half arse things and use crappy products..... many people do, cause its cheaper, but then over time you realize you bought crap. get good quality things, and there shouldnt be any problems.

2) negative camber, nor camber on these cars arent a problem. you dont need alignment kits on these cars at all unless you do something stupid and slamm the car 4 inches or so....

3) from everyone i;ve seen with air bags and ridden with, if you do city driving, not the plush roads in neighborhoods, but air ride is usually more bounce than a fluid filled suspension..... its air. true you have adjustability. but a fluid and gas will ride smoother by far....granted its not blown.

also air bags..... not really track legal. some get away with it as long as they dont say anything, but illegal cause if an air line blows when you are doing near 100mph, and one corner of the car drops... insurance liability issue with most tracks.

also as of yet, only praxxis has made a track worthy/ track purpose racing air bag suspension and thats for WRX only.
