what are the best shocks to use with the sportlines? i am currently looking at the tokico d-specs and koni yellows but i would like to get other opinions from people that have perhaps use these springs before.

how hard is it to modifie the struts for the yellows? did anybody have it done at a shop and if so what did it cost? was it worth the money?

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Those two choices are your best bet.

Here's an install guide for the Koni Yellows, it should give you an idea of how difficult/easy the install will be for you, depending on your resources/abilities:
http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=3&i=77664&t=77664

Everyone who has the Koni's agrees 100% that they're a great shock, I don't recall anyone having problems with them, so the Koni's are definitely proven. Also, Koni has a great warranty, as long as you own the car, if the shocks blow they'll replace them (assuming you're not dropped 3" or more - but since you want sportlines thats not a problem).

Now, on the other hand - the Tokicos are a direct bolt on application. Meaning, put your spring in, take out stock stuff, and put in the whole Tokico assembly and you're good to go (and you get to keep your stock shocks). Same thing with the Tokicos though, no one has complained yet, but the thing is, they're fairly new to the market, so you can never be too sure. No one is quite sure about warranty on them, but assuming your drop is "acceptable", they'll replace them for as long you own them as well (and by acceptable, I mean no one seems to know, 2" is kinda the rumour that's been floating around - so sportlines MIGHT be a problem, who knows). But Tokico is definitely a reputable company as far as I know.

I'd love to get Koni's, but I'm not sure I really want to go through with the install lol... I was actually planning on putting a deposit down on a set of D-Specs on monday

It's up to you. Both get good reviews from people who use them, but do you want proven reliability, or ease of installation?

thanks guys. i think i'll just go with the yellows, i can always get some d-specs later if i find they work better.

as far as the installing of the yellows, it shouldn't be too much trouble. i have access to all the tools i need to do it soo i'm looking forward too putting them in.

i have another question, do you guys prefere the eibach or the addico swaybars ?

Addcos are thicker and thus will bend less, they also come with better bushings than the Eibachs so they are a all around better quality sway bar.
