Just to start this out im lowered with koni reds and GC's, everytime I hit a bump or just a raised part in the road my rear I belive mounts are squeaking like mad. Is there a way to cure it? I dont think that the mounts are blown there is no clunking.
it might be the same problem i had when i got my d-specs installed...
double check the top mounts inside the trunk and see if your strut bolt is loose or tight.... mine was loose... i guess they forgot to tighten that one side.
If you try that, make sure you tighten to spec. They're not supposed to be OVERLY tight.
I've got KYB AGX and prokit and mine do the same ... they creak with bumps in the road -- but they didn't used to. Think I ought to check that bolt?
I checked -- one bolt doesn't move, and another turns and turns and doesn't go anywhere -- I don't even have 1000 miles on my AGX, and they just starting doing this today ... I'm so frustrated.
mine does the same man i don't know how to cure it.
Same with me, I have AGX amd a prokit, but thats why gm put a volume control on the radio.
I say it is a our sucky ass gm strut mounts...
I'm retarded -- my exhaust hanger broke and it's rattling around.
