k, i saw someone with a rear sway bar and another bar that goes across from hub to hub.
my question is... if you are going to run a solid bar across the back between the rear wheel hubs why use a sway bar in the first place? wouldn't the solid bar cancel out the sway bar?
maybe...but also, that bar isnt supposed to be solid, its supposed to have flex (heim?) joints at the ends....

The bar you speak of is called a tie bar. It does not defeat the purpose of the sway bar. The tie bar keeps the distance between the trailing arms the same durning cornering. This makes the rear much stiffer and gives you much more oversteer.
The heim joints don't allow for flex, they allow for movement up and down.
