I have to get a wrench or socket to remove my rear struts and dont know the size.
What is the size of the lower bolt that connects the strut to the trailing arm?
I THINK 19mm? I don't remember off the top of my head
Think 18 is correct. Better suited to get a full set of 1/2 drive sockets so you have everything u need
Poo, I was close.
Go down to harbor freight and grab the large set of Pittsburgh deep well sockets. I use them all over my car, never had an issue
Odd I tried a 18 and 19 and they didnt fit the bolt head.
Maybe time to retry it.

Isnt the bolt head and nut a different size? I swear I ran into that when I installed my sway bar, and then the hardware that came with the swaybar had yet another size bolt, but the bolt and nut were the same size.

Not sure about the nut, I think its the same size. Other than that nut, I have every other bolt size memorized to pull the rear struts.

Yes...!
I am taking off my eibach rear sway and putting it on my new cav. There is no way it's 18mm.
Do you recall the size? Maybe my other socket set has the size I need. Didn't think of that till now
its 18mm or if anything the biggest would be 19. the nut is welded on.
False My nut was not welded on and my sway bar kit came with a new one.
