One of my front calibers stopped working so i swapped it for a new one, bled the brakes and tested. Still not working! fluid comes out the bleeder screw wen bleeding but it still will not work. Suggestions?
another bad caliper? let me guess , autozone caliper? also how much fluid? if its not a good steady stream the hose may be bad.
autozone doenst make calipers. Fenco makes them or A1 cardone in the premium if they offer a premium line. Anyways. Remove the caliper and put a block of wood in it then hit it with compressed air the piston should pop out to let you know its not locked.
I treid the caliber its fine. would the flex line swelling not allow enough fluid to apply proper clamping power? its a good stream sounds like i might go ahead and replace the flex on the weekend.
Autozone sells them, and a1 cardone is terrible! I quit buying any of there stuff, I have had ok luck with fenco from advanced though. I can't count how many bad calipers and honda distributors we saw at my shop before we quit using them
I'd lie to add I'm a fan of Centric as well. Centric actually makes power slot rotors.
