I have been having tokico d-spec struts and tenzo r springs for awhile now and I am tired of the wheel gap!, I just bought some BRAND NEW rk sport coil overs (without struts).
I heard people say that you have to use the 95-99 front strut mounts? Is this true because I have 00-05 front mounts....
Now I found the directions for the rk sport install but the 95-99 mounts were used so I dunno if I gotta buy them or if there is a different way of installing them with the 00_05 mounts? Thanks guys...

BUMP
Sorry for the quick bump, but I'm gonna get started on the install here shortly and would like to know if the 00-05 mounts will work.

I'm sure they do BUT the 95-99 mounts dont wear out as fast. Solid upper mounts would be the best and i assure you, you'll have no regrets with them.

Yes. that's all you needed to do.. Curious though.. Did the rear coilover sleeve fit over the rear Dspec shock? My rear Ground Control sleeves will not. It appears the rear Dspec body is thicker than the other brands.

you have to get the sleeve ment for the dspec.. i know Gc have different ones for each brand of shocks
Well the rear sleeve's had a spacer that was included in the kit that I ended up not needing. Other then a few bangs with the hammer everything went into place. I had to sand the shock body down a little bit to make it fit also....

I didn't see the Dspec option when ordering so I went with the GC's for stock struts/shocks. That would be my issue.
Easy machine shop fix!
