Are the stock front sway bar end link bushings white and rock hard? Mine are, they feel kind like delrin and look like it as well. I would have figured that they would just be black soft rubber like normal.

To my knowledge, the stockers are soft black rubber (like every other sh!tty bushing on our cars). Mine are at least.
hmmm. This is interesting. I'll venture outside with a flash light and get a picture.
well they're not white but look like they used to be. They're definitely rock hard.

Mine use to be white, but were replaced at one time, but I plan to replace again.

If it takes forever.... I will die trying. Underdog Racing
I have the same bushings as well...but on my eibach front bar.

That means you've had them out of the car, are they as hard as I thought they were when I fondled them when I was doing my dogbone?

Wow, interesting responses. I'm going to have to look at mine when I pull them to install my eibach bar...I could have sworn they were the crappy rubber bushings, but now I'm thinking I may be wrong.
I have moog end links on my car. they used to be blue.
thinking about upgrading the front sway to an addco bar anyways... one of the best suspension upgrades for the J body IMO
wouldn't that big addco bar make it push even worse? Wouldnt higher front spring rates be a better solution to combat roll?

mine are hard as a rock...was going to replace them with poly units...
Cool. So these are the only bushings in the car that we replace with softer units?

I ran my car with Tein SSPs and an addco front bar(no rear sway) for an autox. That was the only time i had it push(understeer), but a few adjustments to the rear dampers fixed that.
Im now running a Progress rear sway bar and i love my suspension set-up. It makes for a very fun street car.
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
Actually Tinkles come to think of it, you're right. My car pushes at the limit when braking, BUT when on light throttle or no throttle the car is neutral bordering on push.

Higher spring rates reduce body roll but at the cost of stiffer ride and loss of comfort.
Properly setup front and rear bar are the better alternative for neutral handling. It's neutral or nothing.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
They must have been replaced at some point.the ones on my 05 were black soft rubber. Now they are red and hard as rock.
The ones on my vert are hard as a rock....should I switch them for the poly ones I have laying around?
