Eibach Anti-Roll bars.....who has them?

Thinking about installing the front and rear bar. How hard are they to install, especially in the front? How did you like them once installed?

Thanks.

rears the best $200 i've spent on my car.....a 4 year old with hand tools could install it.....the front, still a noticeable diff. (especaily if your car didn't come with one) but harder to put in...we'll putting the bar in is easy, its the fact that u need to drop the sub frame to put it on. This task can be easy or a real bitch depending on how rusty ur underside is.

Yea, I'm too old to be screwing around with the front. I'll just replace the bushings in front and add a rear. Thanks.

The rear sway bar was the single biggest noticeable change I made to the cav, you go from getting pushed into the door around corners, to having nearly no body roll. Huge difference, I highly suggest it. Deletes needing to ride at grandma speeds going around corners to prevent passengers or yourself getting thrown around.

Adding the rear alone can produce some oversteer, be ready for it!

Go with the Addco sway bars. They are less expensive sway bars and are just as good. We keep them in stock. Front bar - Addco #2080 - $160 including s/h to the lower 48 states and Rear bar - Addco #2081 - $145 including s/h to the lower 48 states. Give us a shout if you would like to place an order. Definately one of the best dollar for dollar suspension mod available for the Jbody.

Kinda an old bump...

Do the Addcos you have come with the bushings (correct size of course)? I have a buddy that had to find bushings on his own for his Addco bar because it came with the wrong ones. the replacements they sent him were also the wrong ones.

Does the Addco have the same issue as teh Eibach front where on some cars it will contact the inner clamp on teh outer CV boot? Never rubbed on my 02 but did on my 98.

My Addco came with the correct bushings and has adequate clearance around the CV boot on my 03.

Most people have plenty of room with the Eibach. In my 02 there was plenty of room, however on my 98 the passenger side was contacting the boot clamp at full extension of the suspension. I have corrected this issue, but it still confuses me as to how it is different between two different cars (same control arms and sway bars, struts and springs were used in both cars).

Also Karo still has the Eibach front and rear kit listed for $300.

Yes they come with the correct size urethane bushings. I have owned a 97, 00, and a 03 and none of them rubbed. I owned Addco on all three.
