yea those are the brands that get the good reviews but I'm just unsure if they can handle heavy breaking speeds in excess of 120 and just other stupid @!#$ I've just never had to replace any wheel bearing on a car before didnt know what could take the beating if stock ones cant

where are you buying them at all the parts houses around here only give 1yr replacement. And we all know it doesnt take dumb ass diving to kill jbody hubs. A spirited on ramp would do the job sometimes lol.

Not sure of a brand to recommend, forget what I replaced mine with.

Interesting story though, when I got my J, it had been driveway kept most of its life and literally never driven above 50mph(80km).

Lady driven, just around town, if she needed to go to a neighboring city, she would cab it. She put on 60,000(97,000km) in 7 years.

So I'm putting the car through its paces, replacing things as I notice them, *in a safe environment* I had it up in the tripples .

When I came off the ramp I had two bad hubs on my hands, I burned the factory, under-used ones right then and there.

That was on the front, rears have held up considerably well, have yet to replace.
