i have an 05 4dr ls and im dropping it with ksport lowering springs, my only worry is how long will my stock struts last and what aftermarket struts should i replace them with?

-Could last a week or a year

-Tokico D-Specs or Koni Yellows, check out eBay or one of the many vendors on here: A Plus Performance, Turbo Tech Racing, etc.

Best idea is to keep your new springs on a shelf until you can afford the right struts.
Don't waste your time and money, as excited as you may be to get your car lowered, installing them on anything but the proper struts.

no, do it right the first time and save money. each time you remove the strut you have to get the car re aligned. if you dont then you'll need to buy new tires and possibly other suspension components that could break from being horribly out of alignment.

this is exactly why, I said, "I need new struts, screw it I'm getting coil overs this time from the get go."

what coilovers are the best to drop my 4dr with, im looking for more than 2" drop in the front and a 2.5" drop in the back

If you're honestly now considering getting coilovers and struts instead of just good struts for the springs you have, look at some of the complete setups, like the Teins, or the Gravanas. They're both quality setups that many people around here have used. There is also a complete Tokico setup, but I'm not sure anyone here has run them, so you may not get any feedback on them.

If you want to get good struts for what you have already purchased, go with the Tokico D-specs. They're ready to go.

Also, while you're doing this, you might as well get new upper mounts. Again, you don't want to have any reason to have to take your struts back off, because you have to get an alignment every time you do this on the front.

i put the ksport lowering kit on it for now because i hit a little snag in finances after my cv boot and ball joint were losing grease sine they were sliced open so i couldnt afford the d-specs after i replaced those.
