i lowered my 97 cavalier 2 inches now it shakes when i hit snow or water and pulls back and forth, i thought of a few things that it could be but im not sure. one, could it be the wheels now are not alined, two the front is lower is there more waight on it, three it acts kinda like the power is being switched from one side to the other, even when im going slow or taking off normally from a stop, im not sure what it is if anyone had this problem and fixed it or knows why its doin this i would be very greatful for your help,

Don't listen to them!!! You do not need an alignment!
The problem is the centering gear. You knocked it out of place while installing the suspension.
If you keep driving on it, it will cause your door handles to stop working.
Good thing a smart guy such as myself caught this misinformation before you had an alignment done and ended up killing baby lions.
Woops, my bad.

Don't listen to them man, some people are @!#$s, more than likely it's your alignment. I know how it is to ask a legitimate question and receive dumb ass answers.
- Your not-so-local, untrained, uncertified, backyard mechanic. But my @!#$ runs
ok fine then.
i'll ask nice and pleasently. to the op, did you put 2 inch lowering springs on STOCK struts/shocks?
lol nice one guys , i admit it you got me. yeah they are stock struts but new ones i have aftermarket wheeles and i have the hubcentric rings, so an alinement and should be good?

^^This guy is just pissy because he got bashed for claiming to run no springs on his car. Who in their right mind would do that?
/dealing with a dumbass
Jake,
The stock replacements will blow.
Seriously, I'm not joking this time.
1) Get new struts that can handle the drop (What springs are you running?)
2) Alignment.
3) Enjoy.
Hope that helps this time.
the springs are from M2 performance, what kind of struts should i get?
found the specs for the springs compared them to some others and they are the same dementions and materials so im hopein they will do good
