There is a black box with three plugs next to my steering column. Is this the ABS computer? Also, what would happen if I unplugged it. My ABS doesn't work anyway.

Yes, it is the computer. Disconnecting it will make your abs ineffective. I don't know if it will affect other systems though.
Alright, I am in the process of re doing the wiring in my car and i want to remove the computer and the wiring together, I started working on it and I was like oh man, does my car have a bcm, and if it does what does it do lol.. thanks man..

It will make your dash look like a xmass tree lol the abs light ,trac off light and I thank the brake lite will be on I delet mine when I swap my 02 Eco car from auto to 5 speed because my motor harness did not have abs plugs
I've already pulled the cluster and deleted all those bulbs, lol.. they were already on because I have 2 ecus.
