Yep. Lowering on stock J-body struts is dangerous and stupid.

what do you think would be the best strut for waht i have?

best bang for your buck, if you're lookin for adjustable struts with a subtle drop. if you dont care about having adjustability in ride firmness or softness then your next best bet would be to go with Tokico HP's. they'll handle the same drop as AGX, only they wont be adjustable, and they're typically cheaper. also, if you haven't yet, look into strut mounts. its always a good idea to put in new ones whenever you do this kinda work as they are a wear item, so its better to do it now then later, if you can. i severely regret not doing mine when i did struts.
ya i need them! it makes a strange clicking noise when i turn my wheel. is that due to the strut mounts? thanks guys.
lol, i didnt have the money for new mounts, oh well....but
ge the KYB AGX's....i have had mine for about a week or so now,
and aboslutely love them!!!
