I have a Pair of 480c compressors, Just over a year old. I have owned 2 380c and 3 450c in the past and the 480c are the best yet. I had a little trouble from one just a week ago but its because the water traps suck and the leader hose was full of water and locked up the piston. I cleaned it out and its all good now.

I say yes, worth the $.

Get an Air Zenith, you won''t be disappointed. Mine never over heats, never blows fuses, and fills my tank from 0-175psi in under 3 minutes.

Thank you chazz with the camera and twisted cav. I had two 450's before with no real problems. I thought of air zenith but the amp draw is a little high if I want to have two compressors. I plan to have the real H.I.D lights and subwoofer as well with my setup. So with the 480's the amps are a little lower, it's bettter for that part. I know that air zenith is probelly a better compressor, however I will just stick with the 480's. Just for the fact of the amperage.

They don;t really draw 80 amps dude. I've metered mine and they barely touch 65 at full draw. I dont have any problems with running mine, both of my amps, and my HIDS.
