I have a 97 Sunfire and I just bought the Overkill solid mounts, they now require the 00+ mounts to install them. I already have the new mounts but I think the bump stop is different, does anyone know what other parts are needed and a picture of how the newer strut mounts going together.
You acutally need the rotational bearing and bearing plate from the 95-99 strut mounts - who told you to get the 00+ style??
They did, they said that I have the new design that uses 00+ parts, because mostly everyone has 00+ mounts
Oh man - i should have waited to buy those...
What's needed if you already have 00+ mounts on your car that someone that doesn't have 00+ mounts? Other than the mounts.

so if you have the new OEM mounts you need the 2000+ rotational bearings?
i didn't think the 00+ mounts had separate bearings.

What does the bumper and dust boot fit into on the 00+ mounts? The older one uses a hat that fits into the bottom of the strut..
