Over the past month i have noticed a noise coming from underneath the car, or so i assume. It happens everytime i get into the car, as the car lowers, and i believe it might be the suspension. It happens everytime i take off and the car shifts weight or when i go over a speed bump at low speeds. I hope someone has had this issue and could really tell me what it is. I really cant descrive the noise very well. I will attempt to take a video and post it here later this week.

Should be the strut mounts, because mine is doing the same thing. But someone else drop in to give more insight into this please. Mine does it with faster compression and rebound of the suspension,

If it helps i have Koni Yellows on Eibach Sportlines

I have Koni Yellows and RK coilovers. The front creaks with body lean and such, but the mounts are supposedly bad. I haven't replaced them yet.

I'm inexperienced with car. I have no idea about the OEM mounts. This car was handed down from my friend. he moved out of the country and gave me the car. it has about 84k miles and it still runs great just problems like this noise, brakes and dash rattling all the time. so i should just replace the mounts and i should be fine? Any suggestions on good ones?

I also know about the OEM mounts. All i have to say to the OP is that if you plan on keeping your car, I wouldn't even hesitate to spend the money on the OEM mounts, best designed mount for our cars period, and ill recommend these guys all day as they make high quality J-Body specific parts. I would get a set too but my car is hopefully getting sold this summer. Even if the mounts aren't to bad, i'd still get them, better handling, plus adjustability if you want it. www.overkillengineeringmotorsports.com
