Okay i just wanted to ask what is the eaisiest way to pain the coil springs on my 97 sunfire GT. Do i need to tear the whole front end apart or will it be an easy to get to. I alrady painted my calipers and my rear drum, and while im on the subject my front left wheel gets a lo and i mean A LOT of brake dust and the front right wheel hardly any at all, Any ideas on how to fix this and what is causeing it
thanks a lot <Headthumper>

im sure if you jack the car up you can get to it but it will be easier to just remove the suspension if you wanna paint it however if you remove the suspension, you will need to get an alignment when you put everything back together.
as far as the brakes, you could have 2 different sets of pads on the front. if your looking for minimum brake dust, get ceramic pads. they give off less brake dust.
powdercoating the springs would look better, ether way though your going to have to take the entire strut asembly off to make it look good
why would you paint them? seems like more work than what its worth for how often you will even see them...
I want to paint them for something to do, and about the alginment did you mean a front end alignment?

gotcha. as for an alignment, yes, it would be the front. i'm pretty sure the rear isnt adjustable.
