AGX's or D-Spec's

Ok guys this issue has been thought over by myself for a while. I have the eibach sportline(1.7 front, 2.3 rear) springs in with Stock struts in my 2000 cav 4dr, and its time for new struts. I would really like to get the dpecs but it would cost me 751 dollars Canadian to get them shipped to my place, the AGX's are 630 dollars. I dont know which to choose from??? i dont race on a track but the stock struts are terrible, the rear end bounces all over the place when i hit a big road bump. My friend put agx's in the front on a non lowered cavy and said they were a night and day difference from the stockers. Please give me some advice, and testimonials what wut setups and struts you guys have on your lowered cavaliers/sunfires.

If you are just looking for a stable quality long term replacement i would go with the D-spec's. I have heard the agx can run into some issues when dropped over 1.5 inches over time. But if you dont have the $ obviously they are worlds better then the stock setup which is very unsafe, you should find a replacement ASAP.

i was in the same boat u are about 2 years ago. i was dropped with sportlines on stock struts. bouncy as all hell, but even with my fat ass driving the car after a year only ONE strut blew out. when i did my struts i went with d-specs. i have one regret, and its not doing strut mounts at the same time... but i LOVE the d-specs. AGX's only warranty up to a 1.5" drop. its really up to you. you can chance it with the KYB's and you may never run into an issue. they are a very good upgrade over stock, BUT if you DO run into an issue with them blowing out prematurely you will get no help from KYB. i vote D-specs for that reason, spend the money and do it up right. i would think about doing strut mounts at the same time as well, at least check em out.

hope that helps

D-Spec IMO. I've had them for 3 years now and not a problem.

Factory strut mounts suck.

D-spec There is a reason the AGX's are not waratied for that drop.

as everyone said get the dspecs. the agxs will hold out for a bit but i bet over time they will blow since they are not designed to handle that much of a drop.
