Dear Jeff,
Thank you for your prompt response.
After reviewing this issue it sounds like there is a larger problem. I looked through my notes of your build and it seems that you have a "pop" noise in your stereo system when you hit a switch. This tells me that there is a bad ground somewhere in the truck and it's using the air system to ground it's self. My guess is its between a frame rail and the body.
Did you have your stereo system fixed? After seeing your main power wire run through your firewall with out a grommet, I would have to check ALL his work too, but that is up to you and at my current shop rate.
If I cannot find the source of the issue in my workmanship and/or parts that I have installed or supplied, I will not take any responsibility for any further problems. In short, I only cover the work that I did.
Now as far as driving down to fix this issue, I would rather you bring the truck to me. Reason being is that I have all my test equipment, tools, and parts here. To load everything I would need into a truck to bring it down would require a trailer that I don't have.
I will look at my work at no charge, there is no question about that. I am booked full till end of Feb but we can maybe work something out.
Please advise me of what time frame works for you.
Sincerely,
Jason

and in another e-mail his partner sent me, it said i'd have to pay for them to come out here from cgy to look at my truck..sence when has any jco member said that to another after they've done work for them? oh i'm sorry i can't come u've gotta pay me gas money...bull@!#$ again! at the very LEAST i think pizza and beer has been offered....
now i'm pissed! keep in mind this is ALSO the shop that had hacked up my tailgate....ya real "custom" shop they are! in all honestly they should change there name to "HACK-N-FLY" because thats seriously all thats come out of my truck is all HACKED WORK!!!!
do we need to relive the tailgate issue again? here's the post from that...
http://www.j-body.com/community/showthread.php?t=25371
so can anyone help me out with how they wired up there system? or show me links of where they found there information? i know there is NO problem with my stereo what so ever so there just giving me the run around and playing the blame game!!!!
this has seriously killed my motivation to work on my truck anymore it's pathetic because it was starting to look pretty badass too....

you wanted me to e-mail you? ok here it is.....
so with my truck you and i both know it has had the wiring issue from day one, jason i'll admit i know nothing about wiring....the reason my truck came off the road in august, was in part to me hearing a rumor around work that there are going to be layoff's happening soon...and lone and behold in october i get my notice that i'm laid off...second part was because of the wiring issue, it's pretty much killed my motivation to work on my truck anymore...i don't even know where to start pal....i went home in november for 18 days i was talking with a few shops, and they gave me parts to fix it...they gave me a block with no fuses in it, so i replaced that with the one that you had put in there orginally
(this is what he had in there orginally)
now that was how they "fixed it" by putting the fuse in the middle so both of the compressors would kick on...ya real smooth move custom eh? so i replaced it with this....
(not the exact one i have but still general concept..)
..
i have the power wire going into it, then the two wires for the relay's coming out...now both of the compressors work, but for some reason whenever the compressors get warm, and i go to flick a switch to bring it down then back up again, the main fuse blows...and then when i go to replace that fuse, it just blows right away, so it's drawing a lot of power from somewhere....
the thing that really got to me in the e-mail that greg had sent me was with having the club come out of town to help me work on it that i'd have to pay you guys...that's what really pissed me off...back home in ontario the club that i was apart of NEVER ever asked for money to come help out a fellow member...and trust me there were times when they were longer then a 2.5h drives...now as you read up above i am laid off, so i'm free just about every weekend...but i'm not going to put insurance on my truck for one day to drive it down to you....i might just to get the dam thing fixed but i donno man..i really want to be a part of it and help fix this issue as in the future if something like this happeneds i'd know what is wrong etc etc..i just wish in the beginning you could have sent me a diagram of some sort to show me how you wired it, and what to check etc etc...another thing that really got to me was my tailgate, you and i both know that was kinda done unfairly...and you did help correct the problem buy bringing in a new skin...btw i got it fixed and everything and man does it ever look badass...and see i had to go out of my way to bring the skin and stuff up to friends in edmonton to fix it...now did i mind doing that? no because i don't mind driving around...i even went up to edmonton and picked it back up when it was done...and went out to dinner with the guys that helped me fix it.....
it's just that jason i donno i'm kinda getting a bad vibe from your club that they like to help people but if the people live out of town there kinda screwed and have to fend for themselves...and then i also get a pm from scott on s10forum saying you asked for my address to send me parts to fix it? where did that come from...in the e-mails i have from you, i don't remember ever seeing/reading something that you asked for my address to send me parts...from greg there was..but not from you...
and then for you guys to say you should've done more research before getting into bags? man i know how to replace stuff with nuts and bolts...i've never been good with electrical stuff, hence why in ontario i had friends that would help wire my stereo's and stuff...

just minus the sheet metal because it's no longer there
