The HP shocks are basically an OEM replacement, I dont think they are warrantied for any drop.

oh i see and so those springs would drop the car and over time thats not good on "stocker" shocks. can someone guide me in to some springs and shocks i can purchase with a medium drop?

well people keep saying they are good for a 1.5" drop but they are non adjustable struts. for the same price you or maybe a little more you can get a nice set of kyb agx struts with the eibach prokit which is a very popular choice.

I bought this kit from this vendor (but the price has gone up since then)...

This is Tokico's strut and spring kit (HPK291) that gives a claimed 1.4" drop and carries their full warranty. Based on lots of forum feedback, I decided not to risk warranty complexities by using the HP struts on any other springs though I know this vendor also sells a couple of different packages. They appeared well made, installed without problems and I'm satisfied. On my car (a convertible), the drop came out to more like 1.6" front and 1.2" rear, but I've compensated for that. - Mark

Just to add, there are several recent threads in this forum on this subject. Just search "Tokico". Lastly, the Suspension FAQ sticky is a must read.

nothing is ok on factory struts, I would pm jason there to get more information about which tokicos are warrantied for what.

I would recomend the D-specs.

The Tokicos will be covered under waranty up to a 2 inch drop..I know this because I called them,They told me as long as the bump stops are cut and the strut is installed properly..I have been running the HPs for 2 years now with no issues..And I am on a 2 inch drop front and 1.4 rear,They are not just a OEM Replacement,They told me that the only differance between the BLUE And the Dspec is that the Dspec can be adjusted..There are a few others on here running them and they are happy...Its just to bad paeople have to keep saying they are OEm,When they are more than that..

I have the D Specs with 1.4" springs and have no regrets for going with that setup.
