and how is ride on softest compared to OEM set up?

No clunking.
Softest setting is still pretty hard.
the spring rates are alot higher then stock, its never going to ride like stock with the dampeners set full soft

Thanx...but how hard?( I know its subjective but as objectively as possible)

so like ...i dont know...how would you describe their softest ride?(i know its hard but i appreciate any attempt)
like will it make all my change in the cup holder fly out if i go over an edge of plywood?

darkstars you would know, how do they compare to the ride on road magnets?
I never had SS's so I wouldn't know (I did have basics briefly).
All the (quality) lowering springs available have a progressive spring rate, its like saying the 1st inch of spring compression is nice and soft put once you hit the inch mark the spring gets alot firmer. The reason for this is comfort when your driving over small bumps and road joints etc.. but if you take a sharp turn the spring is gonna firm up for better handling.
A coilover is a single linear spring rate that's typically quite a bit higher then springs. Its going to ride rougher and your going to feel more but it will stay flatter and handle better (assuming your not some tool who buys coilovers so they can "slam" their car 4 inches effectively killing all suspension travel and handling ability).
Springs with properly matched dampeners will ride smoother then coilovers.
Personally I prefer the ride and feel of coilovers over springs.
I've had RKSport Prostreets coilovers, Tein Basic coilovers, Koni Yellows with Ground Control coilovers, Koni Yellows with Sportlines, Koni Yellow with Road Magnet Springs, AGX's with Sportlines (I think I'm forgetting 1 or 2 setups) and I've had first hand experience driving many, many more.
In my experience hands down no contest the nicest daily driving ride quality is the Koni Sport kit, its a very small drop (meant for best height for handling). The best riding lowest drop was Road Magnet Springs with Koni Yellows (or use D-specs for ease of install). My overall favorite setup was Koni Yellows with Ground Controls (with Eibach front and rear sway bars and front and rear strut bars)
I'm not going to say how rough anything rides because it is subjective. I've seen people swear up and down there suspension is awesome, not bouncy, rides nice etc... when in reality I hit the roof going over a bump from e-bay coilovers on blown stock struts, but that guy swore up and down it was fine and he liked it. A lot of people will think something is quality because they haven't had real quality to compare it to.
that's my 2 cents.
thanks for the input. and my bad, i could have sworn you had SS's at some point.
OP..... Clunk???? wtf the SS doesn't clunk at all..... The SS setup is great even out the box with its original setting is perfect. I had mine for dd, but I never got a chance to use them on the road course. There is really no comparison between the SS and oem crap.
Atk I was the one with Road Magnets and SS's.... Comparison....... SS hands down way better than the road magnets on dspecs.
thanx...perfect
