can monroe sensitrac handle a 1.8 inch drop on a 98 cavalier. what strut wood be a good choice

no. those are oem replacements. the only struts that can properly handle anything past a 1.8" drop are tokico dspecs or koni yellows. you can try and use kyb agx struts but they are only warrantied up to a 1.5" drop which is all kyb recommends on them. you can try and get away with the agxs but if they blow it will kinda be like pissing money away.

Or Koni Reds, though they are harder to find these days. I do happen to have 4 new in the box
