Wilwood Brakes

Picked up my front Wilwood Kit today. I must say they are in mint shape for being used, and I cannot wait to get the installed. Gotta wait til I aquire the passenger side control are though so I can seam weld both arms, install the new ball joints, then install the Prothane Poly Bushings. After that I will get everything painted black (control arms) and get it all installed. For those that don't know, I bought both sets of Wilwood brakes (one off rears aswell) from Chad (FstCavZ24). Got a smokin deal that I could not pass up. Chad is a GREAT GREAT seller. PM him see if he had anythig left that you might be interested in. Anyway, enough BS from me, here are a few pics of what I have now.

Here are my Prothane Poly Bushings ready for install.

Here are my modified and painted knuckles ready to have hubs installed

Here's the hot seyxness of the Wilwood Front Brake 12.19 inch conversions kit.

Makes the stock brakes look so small!!!

Why would you want to seam weld your control arms where you can get the Alero aluminum control arms which would be lighter in weight, stronger, and decrease your unsprung weight of the suspension?
With the Wilwood brakes, you're already helping in this reduction of the unsprung weight so why not continue with adding the aluminum control arms?
There's a GP in progress that may interest you if you don't already know about it.
Just a suggestion man and nice set of brakes.
Good luck with them and you'll be rewarded nicely with not only better braking but the aesthetics will more than speak for themselves.

Sexy. I'm envious.

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?

I am in the market, but the price is high, and with what i have spent the the FIRE recently i gotta take some time of of buying parts....with brakes, wheel and tires, new mounts, a lsj header, and clear side markers, ive spend over 2 grand in 2 months....if its still going in a few months then ill prolly consider it...

Is that a cum stain on your comforter?

Chris has been a great buyer too. I broke pretty much all my rules on selling parts and I haven't regretted it at all. He's paid on time and only has one more payment left until he gets the rears!
