Well I tried to replace my rear strut mounts but I could not get the stupid strut away from where it was connected. It looks like I could push down the assembly and slide out the strut but that's where my jackstand is... Anyone have any thoughts on this?

i just finished doing mine about an hour ago. U need to move ur jack stands to the side of the car. U have to be able to move the rear axle in order to remove ur rear struts.
Put your jack stand in front of where the rear trailing arm connects to the body. There is a metal plate thats like 1/2 thick metal. Thats where I have always placed mine when doing suspension work.
OK thanks guys. I'll have to try this again tomorrow. Hopefully I can wake up in time to get it done before meeting with family. Wasted so much time on this by taking it off and putting it back on... At least now I know how to get it off easier. Do you guys torque down the main bolt that connects the strct to the arm? It shows in my book at 132ft/lbs but I have nothing that will go that high. It was on there tighter than a mofo...so I just made sure I made it that tight again.

OK off topic question... when I bought my strut mounts last week, I checked to make sure the strut wasn't bad. Today though, when I push down the back, I hear an air noise that I never heard before. Is this normal? I didn't see anything wrong with the strut though (no leaking or cracks that I saw).
