I am contemplating a set of these... just wonder what those of your who have tried them think... or are there any reports about them good or bad?
they sound super sweet, but what company is going to say "yeah our product kinda sucks, but hey they are better than nothing"
For the money I'd go with the Tein SS. Pillowball mounts and the option of the edfc make it worth the while. I've had the Gravana's since the GP back in the day and while they're great for adjustability and I would love to be able to tune on the fly. Highway driving was leaps and bounds different than street driving. Having an edfc would have solved this issue. Anymore questions feel free to ask.

to be honist if i had to do it again i would go with Tein... I am not impressed at all with my Gravana coilovers. from 3 of 4 being blow right from the factory to the valving which is brutal for street use.
The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
just read down a couple topics. The wrenches they come with suck, I bent the @!#$ out of them. i had konis with sporlines but they were not stiff enough. I am using these on my auto'xing car so I dont care about comfort. I did buy mine used but from spending 2 days under the car, I think the teins are forgiving on the roads than the gravans but thats not what I am looking for.

Ha, same thing with mine! I'm pretty sure at least 2 if not 3 were blown on mine as well. Springs will be in my future if I decide to try another suspension.

Well they were from the original GP and weren't packaged as nicely as they could have been. They were pretty much shoved in a box with minimal packing. Not sure how they send them out these days.

i am in the process of getting the PROTOTYPE gravana's. anything i should know
i had the gravanas for a few years, had one of the sets from the original group purchase. they're a very high quality piece, but the ride quality is very performance oriented. it's very harsh for a daily driven setup. i eventually switched to tein basics and don't regret the change at all. the teins are more daily driver friendly. the gravanas are definitely geared towards performance applications. if you can handle the harsh ride, then by all means, go with the gravanas.

Instead of typing everything that AL1A5 said, I'll just quote and reiterate. These are more performance oriented, don't look for an incredible daily driven ride. If autoxing or going to the strip is your thing, these are perfect!

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
Hated them, not flaming Gravana but never again.
i always liked the way my car rode, nice and stiff around the corners and i didnt think it was all that harsh on the streets..., but i went with gravanna before the teins where avalible for our cars

Now With More Carbon Fiber!
I am buying the 2nd prototype off a guy here in AZ. hope they are fun fun fun fun
Picking up the Gravana's on Saturday. Hopefully installing the same day...any tips/advice?
I'm not stupid eric.....Awesome cars today though....i like the orange widebody
Coilovers are installed and adjusted (height wise). I still need and alignment, and to adjust the dampening and rebound and that kidna stuff…
I love the new stance of the car. The ride is GREAT for coilovers. Eric and Chad said this was the magic set, and I kinda think they were right. A front and rear sway bar and I am good to go.

What do u mean by this
gravanas are black and red anodized. yours have no color most likely cuz they're the prototypes.
I love mine because you can not only set the spring rate, but also the ride height. The skwirl is a little bit too low, but its nice to have complete flexibility so far as stance goes.
I agree with everyone, the gravanas tend to be very harsh on bumps and what not and from what I've HEARD the TEINs are a lil more behaved on the street.
I have been contemplating trying TEINs out and rocking EDFC just because it'll be easier to alter dampening on the fly.. plus the solid strut mounts would be nice too.
yeah iw as told when i got these not to expect red and black...which is fine with me...i dont wantred on my car....BTW how do u adjsut the sprign rate...just loosen the spring perch a bit?
