does anyone have any pics of a j with sportlines on 205/40/r17's? any posts will help.

No J should be on 205/40/17's. Not even Sportlines will make that look any less ridiculous.

yea i know, but they came brand new on the rims so i dont wanna get rid of em yet.

thats because that wheel and tire package is for a civic.

I can show you what my car looked like with the wrong size tire on 18s, which should give you some idea why it's a bad thing.

This is with 215/35R/18 (or about 1" shorter tire, 5 percent faster speedo reading)

ok thanks geeky. what size tire is recommended for 17's then 215/45 or 225/45? and will it sit different since its a sedan?

As per the FAQs, your best match is the 225/45.

my car on sportlines. stock 16 inch rims. i know that aint what you asked for. but i figure these might help

right side front

left side front

15 inch drag radials on front

right side rear

I think 215/45/17's is the closest to stock. (per the FAQ). 225 is just to wide for looks.

A 225 is faster than stock, but is closer to it than a 215 is.
