I just finished installing new pads, new rotors, flushed the brake system, and installed the SS brake lines. When Installing the front lines I noticed that the bolt that came with the SS lines was threaded differently then the oem banjo bolt. Instead of possibly cross-threading my calipers, I went ahead and used the oem bolt. The oem bolt's hole did line up with the passage in the SS banjo, but i didn't know if it would seal correctly. Any one have any input on this?
It'll seal if you used the new copper washers.
You'll have no problem with it but I would suggest that you keep an eye on the setup until you feel confident that everything is ok.
Don't overtorque and give the car some time to see if there's any leaks.
Good luck with it.

Thank you Dave and JBO!
Thanks so much. I did take it around the block for a test drive, the pedal feels stiff. I did use the new washers and torque it to specs. I'll keep an eye on it.
i wasn't aware that they came with new banjo bolts? i thought that you were supposed to use your original banjo bolts.

Yeah, they gave me 4 new washers and 2 new banjo bolts. The bolts were the same size as oem, but the threads were much closer together on the new bolts.
hmmm.
