Smallest wheels with wilwood

I'm gonna be ordering my front kit here in the next few day. But my emissions is due in may. No way i'm gonna do it with the new wheels and I dont think the stock 16's will fit over them?? If not looks like I'll have to wait till after the E-test to put them on Anyone?

I've seen 15's with Wilwoods...not stockers though.

The Wilwoods' caliper is a little too wide for the stockers....even 16s if I remember right.

On another note...why would wheels have anything to do with emissions?

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

Aftermarket 16's that are not deep lipped will fit. Stockers will not fit.

DAMN! Thats what I was afraid of

Blue duece: The emissions place wont let you run with super low profile tires. And my 19's are definately that.

you CAN fit stock 16's but need big spacers and longer lug studs

That seems like ALOT of work for just a E-test. LOL

I'd lend ya my 17's if you were closer.

That's weird, why wont they let you run super-low pro's?

There to afraid they'll scratch your wheels. So its easier to just not let you run.

X2

there is no more dyno. They will test your gas cap and then scan the car with a scanner. If there are no engine faults stored and the rediness monitors have passed there tests then you have passed emisions.

Basically if theres no check egine light on at the time of testing and you didn't just clear it before diving over.

Not true in colorado. We still have the dyno tester. And you can pass with a C.E.L. My car has one and I pass. And really its only the denver metro area that still has emissions testing. Everywhere north and south of town doesnt have them anymore.
