its a "Thunking" as i come to a stop with medium -> heavy braking .. i just replaced roters and pads in the shop today
... its only making it on drivers side...i'm gonna go out and take a look after i eat... any suggestions?
Funnily enough i get this too, but its usually when the car is cold and going very slowly, like reversing from a parking space etc. I'll be watching this thread then will be nice to find out as well what it could be.

I get the same noise too. Seems like it comes from the back, i don't get it very often, speeds aren't high either when I hear it.
