Spring rates...
Saturday, January 19, 2008 3:03 PM
I can't seem to find the spring rates for the Sprint or Eibach springs. Anyone have this info?

Also, I doubt either will be over the #400 rate....is there such a spring for the j-jody?

IIRC, the 3rd gen Eibachs start at like 150# and go up to 325# or something like that.

You really aren't going to see springs for any car that are higher than 350# or so. Unless you get into coil-overs, where you can swap springs out easily.

Thanks. I had a hard time finding a pair of #450 springs for my mazda a while back, and I had to have a custom set built. May have to do the same here.

My fronts are 525#, and my rears are 500#. I'll soon be switching to a 500-1000# progressive in the rear and probably bump the front up to about 600#. 400# + is pretty common for autocross and road racing.
