Just lookin for a mild drop and i know this kit drops about 1.4". Do you think i would notice much of a difference in handeling with this drop? I have a lot of wheel gap in the rear and i think it looks really bad. So what do you guys think about the hp setup? Also in the rear one side of the car sits about 1/2 an inch that the other. Any ideas why this might be and any ways to fix it?

i dont believe in this kit for the fact as i dont see the hps as nothing more than oem replacement struts. other will argue but i just dont think those struts are good enough.

as far as the car not being level, are you on level ground when you measure it?

yes i am on level ground when i measure it. even when you stand back and look at it its real noticable. it bothers me. do you think new springs would fix the problem?

Will you notice a difference in handling? Yes, but not as great of an improvement as mine, unless someone abused the h*!! out of your suspension. I doubt you car has 241k miles on it, so it won't be quite as bad as mine was.

I'll put it like this, on a scale of 1-5, 1 being a stock FE1 (comfort ride) suspension and 5 being full blown quality coil-over and double adjustable strut set-up, I would rate it at a 2.5. Compare that to the FE2 suspension at 1.25, or KYB GR-2s and Suspension
Techniques or Tein H-Tech springs rate a 2. The KYB AGX and Eibach Pros would garner about a 3. All these aftermarket set-ups were under consideration, but needing a suspension system now and budget playing a very large part on my decision, so for the money I went with the HP Kit. If I had more money, then I would have gone with the D-Spec kit, with the same springs, but the adjustable D-Spec Struts(a 3.25?). If you think you might want to go lower , definitely go with the D-Specs or Koni Sports.

As for one side sitting lower, I bet it's the drivers side and the previous diver was of substantial size. This can cause the spring to lose some of its free height, causing the spring to be shorter. This happening to a rear spring isn't that uncommon, due to the fact it's a lower rate spring back there. Changing springs will normally correct this.
