lowering a car is not cheap and before you ask, no you should not lower on stock struts. how low are you looking to go?
aplusperformance.com
turbotechracing.com
carcustoms.net
i have to say, i'm not too big a fan of neverenoughauto... they have next to nothing for our cars, and their website is rather poorly put together.

They certainly seem to have their fans. I can only say they were great about the Addco Sway bars I bought, which is a good sign at least. Apparently if you can get past the poor marketing, they have more to offer than they let on.

is there any preferable brand?
if you dont tell us what your looking to do we cant help you. how low are you looking to go? how much are you looking to spend? do you want coilovers or springs? all of this plays a big part on what you pick for your car.
iam lookin on get a 2.5 in drop
well if you want a 2 1/2" drop the only possible way to get that is either coilovers or air ride. the cheapest route is coilovers. if you want to piece together a kit you should really only get ground control coilovers, the rest are pretty much garbage. the struts you need for them are koni yellows or tokico dspecs. no other struts are going to work properly or safely that low except those 2. i wouldnt suggest going any lower than 2 1/2" on those struts. this set up will run you about 1000 brand new. then if you need new strut mounts you have to buy them which will run you about 150 for all 4. so, so far your looking about 1000-1150 for all brand new parts. yes you can get used parts that are just as good but you have to keep your eye out for them.
if you dont want to go that route you can buy a fully assembled set up like the tein basic, tein ss or gravana coilovers. all 3 are very good and well worth the money. there is a brand new set of tein ss (very good coilover system, i have them on my car and they run about 1300 brand new) for sale in the classifieds for 825 (awesome deal and he is a good guy to deal with, i bought his edfc off of him). also there is a set of gravana coils for sale too in the classifieds for 800. again these are great too but i would spring the extra 25 and get the teins.
i want to spend a max of $600, and which one is better coilover or springs?
well with a max of 600, your going to have to find a used set of ground control and konis but 600 is going to be tough to find. there is no better when it comes to springs or coils, its all what you prefer and what you want out of them. if you want a 2 1/2" drop you have to get coilovers since no one makes a spring that low.
i found a set of
RK Sport Coilovers for sale in the classifieds. they havent made these in about a year and a half now but its within your budget and its a direct replacement. you would have to talk to the seller about the condition and milage on them but its a start. like i said though, if you spend an extra 200 you can get a great set of coilovers and possibly the best set ever made for our cars which is the tein ss.

Never Enough Auto can get anything you are looking for your automobile. Just because they dont have it on their site doesnt mean they dont carry it. I have ordered everything that i have on both of my j bodys from them. I have yet to found anyone that is cheaper all around. But thats my opinion. You are allowed to have your opinion as well.
yea but they dont carry the parts like you can get from gravana, rksport, aplusperformance, carcustoms, turbotechracing, etc....
like what? You can get anything from them, the only things they cant get is like the gravana trd bumpers and stuff like that or the turbo tech racing motor mounts, this is because the companies manufactor these products themself.
No need for a piss'n match. Although I do appreciate the support Silver03Cava.
As far as what we carry...we carry pretty much everything. We realize our site is lacking in substance, but thats something we're slowly working on. Lol....we're too busy shipping out products to customers to work on the site. The site may be lacking, but our instock and available products isnt. Neither is our customer service. We pride ourselves on having the items in stock and shipping out to you within an hour of you placing your order. If it means our site has to suffer a bit so our customers get their items right away....Then I guess we're ok with that.
As far as what is and isnt on the site....if its not on there, give us a call. Like I said, we're adding more and more Jbody stuff now with our added support of www.ionforums.net We're never too busy to take your calls and give you whatever help we can. Only about 10% of what we have IN STOCK is on the site...that doesnt even touch on what our local warehouses stock for us for your cars. Again...we're working on it. If you guys have any suggestions, I'd be very interested in your feedback ( support@neverenoughauto.com )
Thanks in advance.

maybe i missed something but the boys over at never enough are some of the best people to deal with. their customer service is by far one of the best ive ever dealt with, of course ttr, aplus, and karo are all really good as well, but never enough is right up there with them.
although, i think you guys definatly need to get your name out more on this website, having an account and talking to us like you have been is a great start, but i really think more is needed on your end to get the word out. it seems like all the time i see ppl asking about your company. ive had quite a few ppl PM me about you as well, i give you nothing but praise.
to the OP: as for your lowering goes, listen to stripped cav, he knows what he's talking about. IMO koni yellows are the shiit and do their job beautifully, although i think i would much rather prefer a set of tein's with the coilovers for this car though because you can go lower than i am now and you have the option of adjustbment of firmness inside the car via the EDFC.
suspension isnt cheap if you want to do it RIGHT, trust me... take it from somebody that knows, cheaping out isnt the way to go, it wasnt until i spent the $800 on my yellows/sportlines that i knew this and finally took it to heart.
