I received mine a few days ago, any tips on installation on a Z? Thks.
no tips needed... very easy, takes 10 minuets
oh and lube the @!#$ out of the bushings or they will squeek
ive got the addco rear sway bar and it was a breeze to install......did yours come with the endlinks? If so i would search to see how they are suppose to be put together and make sure you up the L bracket the right direction.

wow... i never did that!!! maybe i should get under there and do it! lol, idk, i dont think theres any sqeeks tho, i dont hear anything anyway. would a spray grease work?
depnds on what you mean by spray greese.. pretay much you want to lube the D bushings with liek chasis greese kinda stuff. After a while the the bar and bushins will get stuck together and it'll make creaking noises when you turn
interesting... could the stock front bar do that as well? ive noticed some creaking/weird noises up front when i turn. ive never lubed anything under there before. i thought it was the front strut bearing plate mounts but i dont see how that could be, there brand new monroes.
Job done took us maybe 30 min. we used a thin layer of chromo-molly grease and itīs ok till now, no noises at all, btw hi speed cornering feels much firmer, I do not know how the rear anti-sway bar is not a standard equipment.

Agreed. The rear bar was where I could feel the most difference in my car -- afterward I could hardly tell when I finally got the front upgraded from stock as well.
As far as why it's not a factory feature, high-speed cornering isn't a necessary function for the car's target audience. I do wish they had put them in anyways, since I like it mainly for the safety benefits. Emergency maneuvers are more predictable.

I get on average 2 cars a week (all I work on is VW's) that come in for the front sway bar bushings causing a creaking noise when the body leans (while turning). If the noise your getting happens even when the cars parked and you turn the wheel its most likley the front mounts/bearings
hmmm, i dont get it then because everything is brand new. ill try greasing the sway bar end links and such and see if that will help it. but yeah i think it does do it when i turn while parked as well though
is it common for the FRONT bearing plates to go bad that quickly when lowering? they have less than 3000 miles on them.
just for reference im on yellows and sportlines.
