Ok right now i have a set of coil overs on my car and i want to go back to just lowering coil springs what pieces do i need to to make the lowering springs work? I threw away the dust boot and every other peace i didnt need when installing the coil overs.

well it depends... most coilover installs don't have the big spring perches, so long you have the spring perches on the struts basically just swap the mounts, the rubber sping insualtor on the bottom and the bust boot/bump stop

you will pretty much need the complete strut mount, i did the same thing and didn't get all the parts i needed, caused so many problems it was unreal.... then i found out that i was missing a few parts on the mount, so i just went to a junk yard and got the complete front strut assembly, the rear you don't need anything different... but i would suggest on gettin the dust boots or atleast some bump stops in there.

I dont have the rear spring perch at all. The only stuff i swapped over was the bump stops and the mounts. I guess ill be looking for some used struts at the salvage yard to. If any one has a old set they need to get rid of let me know or all the old stuff ill need for going back to lowering springs hit me up with a email.

the same parts on every suspension.... springs are 1 single part with no moving parts... its just a bent peiece of metal, you don't need anythgin else to install a spring other then a spring

you'll need other pieces too like spring seats and bumpstops

I would get the whole thing, just unbolt the mount from the strut tower, and then unbolt the strut from the spindle (or beam in the rear). Take the whole thing home, pay attention to how you're taking it apart. Taking pictures for record is the best. Get the Koni's and a good set of springs. Sell the Skunk 2's to a metal recycler. That's their best use.
