ive noticed on alot of the sunfires there is a traction control switch. i also saw a cavi had traction control to the other day. what vehicles had these and what years did it come in. how hard is it to install?
I could be wrong because I never owned an auto J, but I thought it was most of the 4 speed autos.
Dude, I wouldn't think it'd be that hard.
It prolly goes back to the bcm somewhere. Just trace it an see where it goes.
I'll see if I have any diagrams for it.

im not gonna add it most likely. i was just curios to what cars had it. i know in my 3spd clusters and my 4 spd one. it had a low trac lite on them. and it just got me to thinkin.
well they have to have ABS to have traction control if that helps...
adding traction control control would mean adding ABS
Traction control was a feature on cars with the 4 speed automatic transmission. Pontiac's came with a button to turn it off. To turn it off in your cavalier, just pull your e-brake up one notch or make a switch that grounds out the e-brake cable-- thus, causing the computer to think the ebrake is engaged. I don't think ABS was a necessary feature, as this TCS system simply adjusts timing to reduce power output.
it has to have ABS... without wheel speed sensors it doesn't know your losing traction
95-05 with the 4spd only
03-05 only with abs and 4spd auto
with the cavis you also can put the gear selector in 1 or 2, and the ets off light comes on
forgot to mention that the trac control isnt a stand alone thing its part of the abs , and tied into the pcm

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
