Who would be interested in a set of Turbo Tech Racing Rotors?
You would have the choice between:
1. Slotted
2. Slotted/Dimpled
Most places like Baer and Power Slot have these for about $150 for a set of 2 rotors.
We believe we should be able to do these for 115-125 per axle set (2 rotors)
Who would be interested?

Matching Cavy fronts and Neon rears?
id be interested granted they could keep up with the other companies.
What brand of rotors? (before machining that is)
You need to be innovative and offer products that the platform needs and does not have
... Or not enough of. LIKE the TOp Motor mount you guys released and have sold 500 + of so far
. billet aluminum strut mounts ? front and rear
., Aluminium control arms, a decently priced sub frame brace ect ect ect.

i'm buying a VW those people love trees, so they should love eachother too... "Andy"
I would be interested. Mine got a bad vibe, and i would like to use a slotted pair with some good pads to help prevent this in the future. As this is the 2nd set i have ruined in a year. Maybe i should change my driving habits.....light to light?
Nah.

x2!!!
Although I did pick up PowerStop rotors for a pretty decent price (Both W/F-body and N-body).... any type of warranty with them?

I would think if we could make some 2 piece rotors would be nice, but most of us wouldn't want that for stock size. If only you could make spindles for J-body's that have the F body brackets for us for a fair price I would be so happy.

I got matching drilled and slotted J front and Neon rears form Trinet motorsports.
WHITECAVY wrote:TTR, do you sell neon rears that match the Baer cavy fronts?
thats what im looking for
I dont know if i would be interested granted that i like selection on parts for my j, I think you guys should focus on some other areas....like ur top motor mount That thing skull F***s the rk insert. that was honestly my favorite mod for a long time engine wise. Solid strut mounts front and rear would be something that i would be interested in. maybe some camber/castor plates ( i forget which is adustible for us ). Where do you guys stand on the turbo manifolds that i asked about in an email alooooonnnngggg time ago? What ever you guys decide on making I know you will do your research, and it will kick ass when released.
Best wishes, and good luck from one happy customer-Jeff aka pushrods/jucnbst
What about a larger rotor kit much like the ones AEM and Powerslot make for a lot of cars besides ours. They're usually like 1" larger rotors, and a bracket to reposition the caliper accordingly. Then the rotors are drilled and slotted, or just slotted, or dimpled or whateva.
I have to say not sure if this is a product we truly need for our cars. Reason in saying that is there is sooo many options for slotted, slotted and crossed drilled, just cross drilled etc.. for our cars. There is cheap brands that work great, and cheap brands that suck, and good brands that cost more. I'm in no way saying you should not do these, but are you talking about this being a brand new product and design, or just you guys buying a already made rotor and re selling?
I would think if this is a new product then testing would still have to be done to prove it will hold up to abuse most of would give it.
I could think of a few product we could use before this.
I nice hood strut kit (I can only find one for J's)
Nice shifter and ebrake boots with many colors to pick from
A J-body grounding kit (only know of one, others are multi use)
Truly some more engine dress up stuff (caps covers etc..)

Id have to agree if your gonna do brakes I think doing bigger brakes will be your best bet. Plus my car has relatively new drilled and slotted i got from

Alexis: Dustin, you're ghey, lol. I am better. I have tits, and tits rule all.
here's the problem with doing bigger brakes.
1) "plus one" style brakes. the only setups that this works with are for calipers w/ brackets, and calipers that hold their own pads. notice that the jbody knuckle has ears which hold the pads. well, you cant really "move" those ears (reweld, etc). so that throws out the cheap solution of being able to use the stock calipers w/ larger rotors.
2) what about using a different caliper w/ the same mounting holes? well, for one the mounting holes dont line up, you'd have to make a custom bracket. also, the caliper bracket holes are closer to the axle and inset, so that would require machining of the knuckle. there's no real space there to make it an easy plug n play. throws out option number 2.
Once you have to use new calipers, you're already in the area of doing an nwf/baer/ssbc/wilwood swap. I thought about this a lot cuz I didn't want to do the NWF swap, and after everything considered, it is not feasible to try to reuse the stock setup.

If you throw in performance pads as well and make it a complete package, I would be interested.

I'm with David on this one, however I know I will need them long before you get them produced. Research takes time and mine needed to be replaced like yesterday.
I am sure this has been said... but i think you should come up with a big brake set up (well bigger the stock) with front and rear discs that fit in a stock 16" Z24 / GT wheel
... I am sure i am not the only one on here who wants to get a big brake kit that they can swap in the stock 16" wheel for winter driving...

blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
We belive that this is what we will do, we will look into making a cheaper(cost wise), direct fit, big brake kit.

unfortunately, this will most likely not realistically happen. The dimensions of the stock wheel (specifically, the z24 and ls sport wheels) are just totally anti-anything big. You cant find a caliper and rotor w/ the specific thin size to get it to work. Aftermarket 16's will work on certain 12" setups though, as I've proven in my ultimate brakes thread in the p&m forum.
Aaron, if I were you, i would look into making a BBK that will fit 16's with a 12x1" rotor. Wilwood's dynalite caliper (although now I think they're switching ALL their names to dynapro) can be found relatively cheaply, and I'm sure that the 1.63" pistons will be a good match (regardless that wilwood only uses the 1.50" pistons in their bbk). There are a lot of 12x1" rotors out there that could work backspacing wise, because I found some. I put a lot of research into making a custom bbk for myself, but you'll see that the biggest problem you're going to run into is making a bracket to hold the caliper, because the stock mounting holes get in the way of mounting the caliper correctly. This is why its hard to use the dynalite caliper, either the normal 5.25" version, or the narrow 3.50" version. In the end, you'll realize this is the reason why wilwood used the dynapro caliper and its deeper radial mounting because of the mountability issue. but, the dynalite caliper is definitely sold for a good price imo. wilwood also recently came out with a rear parking brake caliper, and although I havent looked at it much, it would definitely be cool if you could get that one to work. g/l
